In Dialogue in the Dark, you forgo seeing. In small groups of a maximum of 8 people, you will be guided by our blind hosts, who will be the 'seeing' for 60 minutes, through our lightless exhibition course. Equipped with a long cane, you will discover a seemingly familiar world during a walk through a park or crossing a street in a whole new way.
Everyday situations, such as walking through a park or visiting a bar, turn into a unique adventure in completely lightless rooms. Visitors experience how they entrust themselves to utterly unfamiliar blind people who guide them securely through the darkness.
Dialogue in the Dark is an immersive experience exhibition where you are guided in complete darkness by blind or visually impaired guides through various everyday scenarios. This unique experience allows you to experience daily life and challenges from the perspective of a blind or visually impaired person, thereby fostering understanding and empathy. Over a drink in the dark of the Dark Bar, you have the opportunity to ask all the questions that came up during the tour and gain deeper insights into life without visual perception.
