Description

New and only until fall 2025: A dinosaur exhibition with T.Rex, Triceratops & Co. in life size! Travel the whole world in just one day at Tierpark Berlin: whether eye to eye with giraffes, high in the Himalayas among snow leopards, takins and co. or surrounded by majestic tigers in the wild jungles of South East Asia - embark on a fascinating expedition through the animal world at Europe's largest zoo. Just 15 minutes from Alexanderplatz, Tierpark Berlin covers an area of 160 hectares. The extensive park landscape invites the whole family to enjoy a relaxing excursion. Take a ride on the free electric train and let yourself be whisked away to various stations on the Tierpark grounds. Experience unique animal encounters in the walk-through Vari Forest, feel the fresh breeze when the birds of prey circle close above your head in the flight show and see your children's eyes light up with joy in the petting zoo. In 2023, another exciting adventure world for young and old opened at Tierpark Berlin with the new Africa Savannah. Marvel at the zebras, gazelles, wildebeests and ostriches that live together here between striking rock formations, sandy hills and idyllic waterholes. The highlight is the giraffe walkway, where you can meet the gentle giants of the savannah at eye level.
