Located a stone's thrown from the river Spree in the historic Bolle Dairy building, Paulaner's is a hidden gem that is well worth seeking out if you are looking for something off the regular tourist trail in Berlin. The interior is warm and cosy, with beautiful dark timber finishings and although it can cater for parties of around 400 people, still manages to feel intimate and inviting.
Their menu is overflowing with classic Bavarian and local specialties, including such favourites as the Schweinshaxe (Roasted Pork Knuckle), Wiener Schnitzel or Berliner Currywurst! If you are looking for a lighter meal, Paulaner's also have a number of lighter dishes including some tasty salads. To wash it all down they serve a number of draught beers brewed at the acclaimed Paulaner's Brewery in Munich.
During the week, take advantage of their business lunch from 11am to 4pm where a two course meal will set you back only 7,80€.
