Located on Lehrterstraße in Moabit, around the corner from the Berlin Hauptbahnhof sits the unassuming establishment known as Kapitel 21. When it opened a couple of years ago, the intention was to create a neighbourhood bar that also funtioned as a creative space. The result is a great bar that is also a gallery space, supporting interesting up and coming artists and providing the regulars something new to ponder.
Kapitel 21 also bring in an assortment of live bands, theatre, poetry, book readings and more. What we love is that despite all this art and creativity, Kapitel 21 is not at all snobby or pretentious and is worth a look whether you live around the corner or are visiting Berlin and staying down the street, hell, we'd even recommend crossing town to spend a chilled out evening here!
