German
With a cosy atmosphere and friendly staff the Bötzow Privat makes you feel like you have been a friend of the restaurant for years. The menu is not overly extensive, but the chef has a strong understanding of what makes a high quality dish and is happy to talk you through the various options. The cooking is homely and fresh - you are certain to enjoy your meal.
The restaurant maintains a local feel, with few tourists aware of its existence. This is probably why their prices have remained so low, with a main dish costing around €10 for a very sizeable portion. It has a great atmosphere and feels as though you are getting away from the larger restaurants in town to this secret corner of traditional, cullinary Berlin.
