Cafe
The location of Café Pappelreihe used to be that of an old local kiosk, so it's probably because of this that a lot of regular old kiosk customers come to get their daily coffee here. As it's in a popular area, it also hits all the right notes with passers by, tourists, travellers and backpackers.
Now this simple and welcoming café serves great coffee and yummy cakes, a small lunch and snacks menu and a good-looking breakfast selection.
The owner, who is also a local, loves his neighbourhood, a good coffee and beautiful art so putting all three of these things together brought him to open this Viennese coffee house in the heart of Neukölln in 2011.
The art collections change regularly, as do the flower arrangements. Its a cozy place to stop in if you are in Neukölln, sit down with a book or your thoughts and have a cake and a beverage whilst you plan the rest of your time in Berlin.
