With 50 beach volleyball courts, Beach Mitte is the largest beach volleyball centers in Berlin and offers a great range of extra facilities including lockers and showers as well as a great beach bar serving food and drinks. If volleyball isn't your thing don't dispair as there are a some great areas to sit in the sun and chill out with a beer or cocktail. Open from midday on weekends, Beach Mitte makes a great start to an evening on the town - just make sure to brush the sand off your toes before you hit the clubs!
Beach Mitte is located right next to the Nordbahnhof Trainstation, within walking distance of the Berlin Wall Memorial and makes a great rest stop after an afternoon of sightseeing. If you are feeling adventurous, why not head next door to Mount Mitte and let out your inner monkey!
