GoJump - Tandem Sky Diving

GoJump cater to everyone from skydive students to veterans of the sport, but the vast majority of their guests are first-timers with their popular tandem jumps.  This experience with beginners really shows: the instructors are patient, professional and friendly, and really put their guests at ease and help them to get the most out of this amazing experience.  The group of instructors is also very international with many different languages covered.

On a tandem dive, you are harnessed to an instructor who has over 1000 jumps experience.  Before the jump, you will be taken through a short course to get you prepared for the jump, with some techniques for the free-fall and landing position.  After that, the plane will take you up to 4000m above sea level where you and your instructor will jump, hurtling towards the earth at speeds of up to 300kph before the parachute deploys and you spend around 10 minutes floating back to earth.  My words certainly don't do the experience justice - for an impression check out the video.

Record the experience

For an additional cost, GoJump can help you record this amazing experience with a number of different video products on offer.  20 minutes after you land you will receive a DVD of the whole experience, from preparation to take off and most importantly your jump.  A great way to make your friends jealous when you get home!

Location

GoJump's airfield is located at Gransee, 45 minutes by train from the Berlin main station.  When you get to the Gransee station, call GoJump on +49-30 245 34 030 and they will pick you up and drive you the 3km to the airfield.

Safety

At GoJump, safety is their top priority, and with more than 20000 successful jumps per year, their safety record speaks for itself.  All safety equipment is checked regularly and must meet stringent requirements.  All tandem gear is of the highest quality, uses the latest in skydive technology and on average is replaced every 6 months.  GoJump are a member of the German Parachute Federation and comply to all safety requirements.  In addition to the jump equipment, they also maintain one of the most modern skydiving planes in Germany, a PAC 750XL built in 2008.

For your convenience, Bakerman's Soul Kitchen is located at the air field and serves fresh delicious snacks and cakes as well as hot and cold drinks.  It makes a great location to sit and relax after your jump or while you wait for your plane to take off.
