For a few of evenings per week, the piano restoration workshop on Uferstraße in the Berlin locality of Wedding transforms into a wonderfully intimate chamber music salon featuring high quality young musicians. This is an absolute gem of place and if you are a jazz or classical music lover it is well worth a visit. It is not the easiest place to get to as it is located a little way out of the popular tourist area but that just adds to its charm. This is THE place to come in Berlin to hear young up and coming professional musicians in one of the most unique concert venues in the city. The program ranges from solo piano concerts to chamber music, with various vocal and instrumental recitals as well as a number of Jazz concerts.
Tickets can be booked on their website (which is unfortunately only available in German), but they always leave an number of seats for each performance so it is possible to just turn up on the night.
