Spectrum Science Centre
Berlin
For Kids
The Science Center Spectrum is a great place for children of all ages. It is incredibly hands on, with over 150 interactive exhibits creating an incredibly rich and enjoyable experience. As the kids make their way around the exhibits they will gain an understanding of some of the fundamental laws of nature, science and technical principles without even realising that they are learning! It has only recently re-opened after a major redevelopment and we were very excited indeed to see it open its doors again.
Some of the exhibits are quite simple and are suitable for very young children who are developing their motor skills, others are aimed at older children. All of the instructions for the exhibits are written in German and in English, making this a great place for visitors, especially if the weather turns bad.
The spectrum science centre is located on Möckernstraße 26 in Kreuzberg, right next to its big brother The Museum of Technology, and your entrance fee covers you for both museums provided visit them on the same day.
